Programme Educational Objectives (PEO)

PEO1: Students will learn the terminology of the subject and have a basic knowledge of cells, tissues, and blood. They will also understand the anatomy and physiology of the human body. This subject will develop an understanding of the structure and function of organs and organ systems in the normal human body.

PEO2: In the clinical microbiology lab, students are able to classify, identify, use instruments, sterilise, understand cultural requirements, and perform different microbiological tests.

PEO3: Students will be able to learn the terminology of the subject, have basic knowledge of cells, tissues, and blood, and understand the anatomy and physiology of the human body.

PEO4: The students will be made aware of the composition of blood and methods of estimating different components of blood. They will also be able to know the basic concepts of haematology and the routine clinical investigations of the haematology laboratory.

PSOs

PSO1: This program deals with healthcare professionals who perform assistance in anaesthesia and operation theatre surgeries.

PSO2: The technologist also performs equipment validations, calibrations, quality controls, statistical control of observed data, and recording normal operations.
