Chandigarh School of Business College, jhanjeri has state-of-the-art academic Library that provides a congenial atmosphere for reading and research purposes.The Library is fully automated with integrated Library Management Software KOHA. All the books in the library are barcode based and easily scan barcode readers. Books can be searched in "KOHA" Web OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue). The Library has a rich collection of books related to curriculum as well as the reference books. The college Library provides congenial atmosphere for self study and it supplements classroom teaching. Library staff is committed to help students utilize the library resources in best possible way. The library aims at subscribing to reputed journals and magazines in various subjects as well as interdisciplinary research areas in the near future.
The Library shall strive to achieve the status of a library of national repute to become fountainhead in providing information and services through digital, hybrid and virtual library facilities to meet the changing global needs of end users. The library will be the hub of full- service information and instruction network, designed to facilitate the delivery of recorded knowledge and information.
The Library will be the campus entity responsible for acquiring, cataloguing, preserving, and providing access from any location to recorded knowledge,information, and data in all formats.

This section represents the hub of library activities where lending of the books to readers is facilitated. Of all the library activities, the circulation of books for home use is a major public service provided by the library. In the circulation Section various functions are undertaken viz.
Reference service is the most intensive kind of personal service which attempts to bring together the user and information in a personal way. There are two types of reference services: Direct and Indirect. Under direct reference services, personal assistance is provided, directly to the user. It may take the form of library instruction and information service. Indirect reference service consists of information provided through development of catalogues, bibliography, and other reference aids. The current era has acquired the name of “Information Era”. Libraries and computers can contribute towards efficiency in disseminating of information.
On request, retrospective literature searches, on topics of interest, will be conducted by the library. The service would include all the sources held by the library in print, non-print as well as the databases.

The Library Celebrated National Books Lovers Day on August 2023. National Books Lover's Day was celebrated in all the block's libraries and all the students participated enthusiastically in these events and read their favourite books.
CGCJ Library Celebrating ‘Hindi Diwas’ on Sep14,2023 alongside the Department of Mass Communication and the Department of Journalism. Students engaged in ‘Impromptu speech’or ‘Tatkal Bhashan’ competition, and the winners were Anshika, Davi and Rukaiya. Dr. Anamol Sharma was the judge for the day.
On the occasion of National Librarians Day, CGC Jhanjeri Library will be providing a reference service online demonstration program to all the students and the faculty. The CGCJ library provides research support services to the faculty members.
The students were aware during the Information Literacy week from 16th October- 21st October’ 23 for the various e-resources subscribed by the Chandigarh school of Business. During the Information Literacy Week, the students were given practical hands-on training for using the e-resources like EBSCO, Delnet and Infotrac. The students become familiar with the e-resources.
The library organized an online National Digital Library of India awareness programme for the students and faculty on Oct 03, 2023. Dr. Shivani Kaushal, Librarian (H.O.D) provided the information and explains the benefits for using NDLI portal.
Under the Information literacy programme, practical hands-on training was provided to the library staff for using the e-resources subscribed by CGCJ.Information retrieval skills in searching the information, consolidating the information using bibliographic databases, and electronic journals and finding information on the web. The library staff was satisfied with the hands-on training session.
