Exploring Diagrams and Chart Creation The Department of Management at the Chandigarh School of Business, NAAC A+ Accredited Institute recently hosted an event titled "Exploring Diagrams and Chart Creation." This activity was designed to enrich students' comprehension of intricate information by engaging them in collaborative diagram and chart-making exercises. The goal was to nurture their abilities in analysis, synthesis, and visual communication while promoting teamwork, critical thinking, and the proficiency to represent data in visually appealing formats. Students were divided into small groups, fostering collaboration and teamwork. Each group was assigned a specific topic relevant to their curriculum. They were tasked with creating a visually appealing and informative diagram or chart related to their assigned topic. Armed with markers, chart paper, and digital devices, each group embarked on their mini-project with enthusiasm. During the event, students demonstrated their capacity to collaborate efficiently in small groups, analyzing both textual and numerical data. They showcased their skills by crafting clear and informative diagrams and charts that accurately depicted the provided information. Moreover, they critically assessed the efficacy of various diagrams and chart types in conveying data effectively. Finally, students confidently presented their findings and visual representations to the class, elucidating the reasoning behind their design decisions.
