About Grievance Redressal Mechanism at CSB Jhanjeri

One of the most distinguishing features of CSB Jhanjeri is the Student Care Centre (SCC), which works under Dean Student Welfare (DSW). Its purpose is to provide single spot solutions for all problems of the students and ensure their solution within 24 hours. Students can approach SCC in case of any problem related to academics, sports, hostel, bus, or any other issue.

Grievance Forms:

Internal Complaint Committee (ICC)

Internal complaint committee is constituted for prevention, prohibition and redressal of Sexual Harassment to deal with the sexual harassment complaints of women at the Campus.

The main objectives of committee are:

  • To provide a secure physical and social environment which will prevent acts of sexual harassment
  • To promote a social and psychological environment that will raise awareness about sexual harassment in its various forms
  • To offer service such as counseling, legal aid in case of atrocities against women.
  • To provide an environment free of gender-based discrimination To facilitate a safe environment that is free of sexual harassment
  • To develop guidelines and norms for policies against sexual harassment To develop principles and procedures to combat sexual harassment
  • To organize gender sensitization awareness programme
  • To deal with cases of discrimination and sexual harassment in a time bound manner, aiming at ensuring support services to the victimized

A written complaint is required to be taken from the aggrieved person and necessary action to be taken. The complaint has to be sorted out within 10 days from the date of compliant. If the complaint is of very serious nature and any legal action is required then advocate member of the cell will forward complaint to police.

SCOPE

  • To prevent sexual harassment and to promote general well-being of female students, teaching and non-teaching women staff of the College. To resolve issues pertaining to girls/women's sexual harassment.
  • To Women's Cell has been formed to resolve issues.
  • To equip the female students, faculty and staff members with knowledge of their legal rights.
  • To safeguard the rights of female students, faculty and staff members.
  • To provide a platform for listening to complaints and redressal of grievances.
  • To incorporate hygiene habits and ensure a healthy atmosphere in and around the college

The main objectives of committee are:

  • Constituted to probe into student, faculty and non-teaching staff grievances.
  • Redresses the grievance at individual, class level and grievances of common interest.
  • Deals with appeals regarding any decision made by other committees/authorities.
  • To maintain a register for grievances and frequent checking of same for taking remedial action

SCOPE

Committee formed in order to ensure transparency in addressing the Grievance shall submit and suggest the improvements in the academics and administration. The committee ensures all the problems are solved confidently in a time bound manner. The possible solution will be provided in all aspects to the issues that arise

The main objectives of committee are:

  • To ensure compliance with the AICTE regulations and the provisions of any law in force concerning ragging
  • To monitor and oversee the performance of the Anti-Ragging Squad in prevention of ragging in the institution.
  • Dissemination about anti-ragging in the forms of circulars , flexes, posters, and displaying boards in the campus premises.
  • These rigorous practices ensure absolute absence of ragging and no case is recorded

SCOPE

Committee has been formed in order to ensure transparency by preventing unfair practices, complaints of any conduct by any student or students whether by words or written or by any act which has the effect of teasing , treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other students.
